we have forgotten.

we have forgotten the cycle of seasons. we have been in this dry land for so long, that we have forgotten that

there is a place where there is a season for rest, for growth, for blooming, and for death.

we have forgotten that that is how creation was designed, with a death in mind.

as our home continues to fill with waste, and our bodies begin to waste away, we have a choice.

we can continue to live careless, or we can begin to care; for the seeds that we sew, for how we tend to the young, and how we care for the old.

so let’s remember, that today is a new day. a day that we get to choose what we do with it. we can waste it, or we can use it to create something that will flourish. we can create something that even past its death, will bring life.

today is a new day, let us not forget to live this day in a way that brings light.
